Abstract

Unit packages of food products are an element of consumer evaluation of quality and have many essential functions. The most important functions are protective, informational and promotional functions. Informational function is realised by labels, which consist the basic educational mean for consumers. Information the most essential for consumers of milk products are: usability for consumption date and fat contain. The functional features of packages are also important to consumers. The packages that are easy to open and close or to keep contain after opening, make a product easier in everyday use at households.
