The effect of vegetation on electrical resistance of soil – preliminar tests
Tymoteusz Zydroń , Andrzej Gruchot
AbstractResults of electrical resistance measurements of soil carried out during infiltration tests are presented in the paper. The aim of study was to determinate the infiltration rate of surficial soil layer covered by grass and determination of wetting front position within the soil. The infiltration tests were carried out using a double-ring infiltrometer method. Test results confirmed that the electrical spectrometry method can be applied for measuring water infiltration within soil as an extra tool to complement in traditional
