Abstract

Numerous research results confirm the effective impact of bioactive food ingredients of plant origin on the risk of diseases, including cancer. Cruciferous vegetables (white headed cabbage) are a valuable source of bioactive substances in the diet. The purpose of the study was to applied the effect of juice from young shoots of white headed cabbage on the breast cancer cell line (MCF-7). It was found that juice from young shoots of white headed cabbage decrease the viability of MCF-7 breast cancer cells
