AbstractHormonal regulation of rabbit pregnancy and related behavioral changes has been extensively studied for the last century. The present review aimed to summarize and clarify certain aspects of this period. The article consists of six chapters describing in sequence: maternal reproductive track, gestation, maternal cyclical phenomena, pregnancy and lactation, hormonal profile in pseudo-pregnancy, behavioral changes.
