Numeryczny model terenu w aspekcie projektowania i budowy obiektów inżynierskich
AbstractEssential thesis of the paper is the proposal of two Digital Models of Terrain (DMT) based on irregular triangular elements, and created in the form of a continuous function - adjusted to solving problems of engineering surveying. The proposals of DMTs presented in the paper are characterized by the fact, that they are based on the points which were obtained directly from the field surveys. The DMTs based on these points are created in the form of a network of irregular triangles, or a continuous function. Characteristic feature of DMTs created in such ways is their exceptional usefulness in the case of terrain solids having relatively regular shapes and distintly marked edges, like embankments and heaps. The author considers, whithin taken up subject, the following solution as beeing original: formulation of essential conditions for DMTs in engineering surveying applications; settlement of mathematic formulas for DMTs; settlement of algebraic procedures enabling calculation equations of a grade-line and ar optimal grade-line; calculation of the pierce point of the grade line and the surface. of the terrain; calculation of the point of intersection of a profile and sides of the triangles; calculation of the greatest slope and its azimuth; setting up algorithms for calculation of the volume of earthworks together with their statistic evaluation. The author presents also two original computer programs enabling, for proposed DMTs, all mentioned above calculations together with their statistic evaluation. Presented algorithms for punctual and interval statistic estimation for DMTs create the basis for setting up accuracy criterions for land and engineering surveying.
