Efektywność nawożenia azotem i potasem jabłoni odmian McIntosh, Jonatan i Bankroft
AbstractIn the year 1973-1.984 the levels of fertilization were applied to apple tree In autumn 1972 the experiment was started by planting 3 apple cultiv McIntosh, Jonathan, and Bankroft, budded on 'Common Antonovka' seedlin on leached brown soil originated from loess. The following fertilizers we applied: N — 46% urea, K — 59% potassium salt, P 46% superphospha and LS-7 chelate (B — 0.88%, Cu — 1.34%, Fe — 3.83%, Mg — 2.90%, — 1.96%, Mo — 0.02%, and Zn — 1.95% ). The experiment was carried out with the use of a 'split-plot' design 4 replication. The plot was composed of 3 trees of the same cultivar. following combinations were compared: 'O'= no fertilizers, D1 = N — 50 kWh K20 — 80 kg/ha, P205 — 100 kg/ha, D2 = N — 120 kg/ha, K20 — 160 kWh P205 - 100 kg/ha, D3 = N — 200 kg/ha, K20 — 240 k P205 — 100 kg/ha, as in D1+LS-7 chelate 3 times, as in D2+LS-7 chel 3 times, as in D3+LS-7 chelate 3 times. Mineral fertilization increased the content in soil already at the dose 50 kg/ha N, the sufficiently high N in leaves was obtained. From the th' year of treatment the concentration of K in leaves increased, being high in years with more abundant precipitations however, it did not rea optimum level even with high doses of fertilizers. Total yields increased wi larger doses of fertilization, reaching 100% with '0' (no fertilizers), 1301 with D1, 148% with D2, and 158% with D3. The application of LS-7 chelati increased the yield of Bancroft and the concentration of P in leaves of tilt investigated trees. The results of the experiments showed unfavourable effect of high do of fertilizers on the content of extract, fruit firmness, losses in fruit, an occurrence of storage diseases caused by Penicilliam and Gloeosporium sp, and by core browning. In the tree cultivars examined, high of nitrogen Erni potassium were beneficial for the content of organic acids in the fruit.
